Group Judging

Judging Of The Group

The judging of Group Specials commences at the conclusion of all breed judging in that group.

Judging Best In Group:

All Best of Breed winners are judged for Best in Group.

Dogs enter the ring in alphabetical order of breed. (ie in the order that the breeds were judged.)

When Best in Group has been awarded, the winner leaves the ring.

The Runner up Best of Breed from the breed that is awarded Best in Group now enters the ring and takes the vacated position.

Judging Runner Up Best In Group:

Runner up Best in Group is now judged.

Judging Of Class In Group:

Class in Breed winners from each breed are judged starting with Baby Puppy and continuing up until Open.

The winner of Best in Group and Runner up Best in Group automatically win their Class in Group.
If they are both from the same class, then the Best in Group winner also wins the Class in Group.

This concludes the judging for Group Specials.

All dogs winning in this section advance to Best in Show Specials. These are called General Specials.
